Dr. Perez

It is a pleasure to welcome you to our classroom website.  This will be a place for you to get information, assignments and calendar activities.

I am very proud to teach in the community of Huntington Park.  I grew up in Maywood and went to Heliotrope Avenue School.  After Heliotrope, I went to Nimitz and then graduated from Bell High School.

I am very proud to be a UCLA Bruin. I got my B.A. from UCLA in Latin American Studies.  I got my masters degree in Education and since I couldn't get enough of UCLA; I went back and got my doctorate from UCLA too.  

I am thrilled to teach in the community where I grew up.  I have had experience teaching all the grade levels (except for 4th grade).  I have also been a college professor for many years.  

I feel very lucky to be a teacher in the community where I grew up!
