Maira Bailon

I am a kindergarten teacher with 22 years of teaching experience. I have taught kindergarten through 3rd grade.  I find that teaching kindergarten is very rewarding because students sometimes come to us with no prior schooling and leave for first grade reading. 

After going away to college, I wanted to come back and teach in the community in which I grew up in.  I love teaching at LRA because we are a family of educators who strive to prepare outstanding world leaders, look for ways to grow professionally, and host activities year round to welcome the community.
